HOW TO LOCATE A BOOK IN LIBRARY
- Login to the library website(https://library.zetech.ac.ke/ ) and click on OPAC Menu
- From the OPAC search for your desired title e.g accounting and click on the book you are interested in on the list.
- Once you’ve chosen a book as shown below, note down important bibliographic details and use the LOC Classification number (CALL NUMBER) to locate the book in the shelf.
What is a LOC Classification number (CALL NUMBER)? Each book in the library has a unique call number.
A call number is like an address: it tells us where the book is located in the library. Call numbers appear on the spines of books and journals and in the library's catalog.
HOW TO ACCESS E-BOOKS
- From the list of databases, click on Baobab E-book Library and search from your desired books in the search area, from the results, click on one of the E-book. Search principles of risk management
- For example, search principles of risk management
- Click on the second result Principles of Risk Management and Insurance as shown below, and check for the Read option at the top right of the book.
- The book will appear below, use the right and left navigation buttons to read the book.
HOW ACCESS ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
- From the library website click on E-resources then Remotexs
- Login to the remotexs using your corporate email and password provided by the librarians (If you do not have Remotex login details kindly visit the library circulation desk for help) and click on database
- Once you have access to a list of databases , click on one of the databases e.g Emerald insight
- Search any title on the search area and access Open access articles where you can download them to the download folder.
